Come explore the world of Working Equitation!
This clinic will focus on the foundation dressage principles and start introducing some of the basic obstacles involved in a WE course. The principles behind WE serve as excellent cross-training for endurance horses, as it teaches balance, flexibility, precision, and partnership.

The clinic will be taught by Reta Conner, the owner of Ponderosa Performance Horses. Reta has an extensive background in a variety of equestrian sports, including high school rodeo, galloping racehorses, and 3-day eventing, before being introduced to classical dressage in college. Reta received her classical dressage training in Germany, and has trained horses up through the Grand Prix level. In 2011, she was introduced to the sport of Working Equitation, and has subsequently worked her way up to competing at the Masters level in the sport. She also maintains a small breeding operation of warmbloods and Lusitanos, in addition to training and marketing dressage and WE horses.
There is space for 8 riders in the clinic: 4 riders in the morning session (which will run approximately 3 hours), and 4 riders in the afternoon session (approximately 3 hours long). The sessions will be run as a group session -- all 4 riders will be in the saddle and in the arena at the same time.
THIS SIGNUP IS FOR THE MORNING SESSION.
Auditors can pay at the door, $25 for auditing.
Riders slots much be paid directly to Reta, and received within 3 days of registering, otherwise your slot will be opened back up to the next person. Fee for riders is $100. Payment can be made via check or PayPal to Pphdutchhorses@gmail.com.
