Join us for a fun weekend of night riding, horse camping, and mini-clinic discussions!
Starting Saturday afternoon at 3pm will be several mini-topic discussions: Horse Camping Set-ups, How-Tos, and Favorite Hacks; a refresher course on Ride With GPS; and a discussion on "best practices" for trail marking. (If anyone would like to practice some real-life experience on how to mark trail, contact us -- Andrea will be marking the night courses early on Saturday morning ahead of time, and would welcome anyone who would like to bring their own horse and ride with her to see/practice marking trail.)
At 5pm, we will have a potluck dinner and a discussion about night riding practices and tips and tricks.
At 6:30, we will saddle up and be ready to ride out at 7pm for the night ride. You can ride with a friend or partner, or in a mentored group. No solo riders. We will have a couple of different routes and mileage options.
YOU MUST BE A CLUB MEMBER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NIGHT RIDE AND/OR HORSE CAMPING.
As always, there is no charge for club members to participate. Non-members may attend the discussions for a $10 admission fee.
Riders should be done by 10pm. Afterwards, you are welcome to stay and camp overnight, and then get in another ride in the morning!
